The Stronger, Freer Project is so very grateful to the Newmarket Historical Society for extending the hours of the Interactive Vimy Ridge Exhibit on November 11 until 9:30PM that evening. Why? Stronger, Freer, depicts the story of a Canadian family over 150 years, in four acts. And in one of those acts, the main character, Andrew, has just come home from Vimy Ridge.
We thought it was a beautiful tie-in and so did the Newmarket Historical Society. So now, patrons can see the exhibit by coming early before the shows, on November 11 (8PM) and November 12 (2PM) or during intermission.
"The Interactive Vimy Ridge Exhibit was a deciding factor to perform 'Stronger, Freer' at the Old Town Hall Theatre in Newmarket", said Marianne Lannigan, director and co-author of the show. Other deciding factors were the beautiful Old Town Hall itself and the enthusiastic theatre staff."
Visit Stronger, Freer website for more information about the show and a trailer!
The Interactive Vimy Ridge Exhibit is at the Old Town Hall in Newmarket, 460 Botsford Street.

Bob Kwapis, Councillor for Ward 5 in Newmarket, will be honouring the veterans before every performance of Stronger, Freer. Showtimes are Saturday, November 11 at 8PM, and Sunday, November 12 at 2PM.
"We are so privileged to have Bob Kwapis honour our veterans before each of the Newmarket performances", said Patrick Lannigan, co-author of Stronger, Freer. "Bob immediately understood the spirit of the show and the value of its themes and asked how he could help."
