"It is so great having a partner like WhiStle FM in the Town of Stouffville," said Patrick Lannigan, board member of Stouffville Theatre Company and co-author of the play, 'Stronger, Freer'. "They helped us with the town crier recordings we needed (see Jim Mason article) and we are helping to promote their Fresh Waves radio show, with Brenda Masson. That's a great partnership."
Fresh Waves is a weekly radio show hosted by Brenda Masson on WhiStle FM. This week's episode, at 10:00 AM at 102.9 on the FM dial, will feature Patrick and Marianne Lannigan discussing their upcoming show, 'Stronger, Freer', which they wrote and are producing at Nineteen on the Park on June 15, 17 and 18.
"I'm excited about the future of WhiStle FM when it comes to podcasting as well," added Lannigan. "I think our younger generation is actually more familiar with podcasts than they are with live radio, and I'd love a few of them to grow their talents using the WhiStle FM platform so they can get the on-the-air experience as well as podcasting."
Fresh Waves is hosted by Brenda Masson every Wednesday morning from 10:00 to noon, with a repeat on Sunday’s at 12:00 noon. Fresh Waves is a refreshing talk show which features guests from around the community talking about what’s on everybody’s minds and also about things you may never have thought about. Each week guests from all walks of life grace the air waves at Fresh Waves. Be prepared to be amused, informed and entertained!
